The IWCC has been made aware of scammers posing as judges, attorneys, or state employees to solicit payments and personal information from people with a workers’ compensation claim.

Explanations of Benefits (EOB)

Pursuant to Commission Rules in 50 Ill. Adm. Code 9110.100(c), effective January 24, 2020: “A paper explanation of benefits or SPR must also prominently contain all information necessary to match the explanation of benefits with the associated Medical Bill. A list of any relevant data elements listed in subsection [9110.100(a)] that are required for the paper explanation of benefits or SPR is available at no cost via a link on the Commission's website.
